Terms of Service

You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use the Services. If you use the Services on behalf of a company or other entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for maintaining the security of your credentials.

New accounts may receive a limited number of free credits so you can try the Services. Free credits are a courtesy, not an entitlement: they are limited to one account per person, and we may refuse or revoke them where we detect duplicate or fraudulent signups (for example, multiple accounts created with aliases of the same email inbox).

StickReel generates short-form animated stick figure videos from your topic or script. The pipeline uses artificial intelligence: scripts and scene descriptions are written by AI language models, visuals are produced by AI image and video models, and voiceovers are synthesized by AI text-to-speech. The finished video is rendered as an MP4 suitable for platforms such as YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and Instagram Reels.

Because outputs are AI-generated, results are inherently variable: two generations from the same input can differ, and occasional visual or audio artifacts can occur. We provide tools to review and regenerate parts of a video, but we do not guarantee any particular artistic result. Features may change, and some capabilities may be offered in beta or early access form. We may suspend or discontinue any part of the Services with reasonable notice where practicable.

You agree not to:

• Use the Services in violation of law or third-party rights, including intellectual property, privacy, and publicity rights.
• Generate, distribute, or promote unlawful, fraudulent, hateful, harassing, violent, or sexually exploitative content, or content intended to deceive or mislead.
• Attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems, or circumvent access controls, rate limits, or security features.
• Reverse engineer, resell, or scrape the Services in bulk except as allowed by applicable law.
• Use the outputs of the Services to train competing machine-learning models without our prior written consent.

You retain rights to content you submit to the Services ("Your Content"), such as topics, scripts, and prompts. To operate and improve the Services, you grant StickReel a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, reproduce, display, and create derivative works from Your Content solely as needed to provide, secure, and improve the Services, and as described in our Privacy Policy.

Subject to these Terms and to payment of applicable fees, you may use the videos you generate with the Services for personal and commercial purposes, including publishing and monetizing them on social platforms. Because outputs are AI-generated, they may not be unique — similar inputs from other users can produce similar results, and we cannot guarantee that outputs are protectable by copyright in your jurisdiction.

You represent that you have all rights necessary to submit Your Content and that Your Content does not violate these Terms. We may remove content or suspend access if we reasonably believe it violates the law or these Terms.

The Services, including software, branding, and documentation, are owned by StickReel or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited rights expressly granted here, no rights are transferred to you.

The Services rely on third-party providers, including payment processing (Stripe), hosting and storage, and AI model providers for script writing, image generation, video animation, and speech synthesis. Your use of those services may be subject to separate terms from the respective providers. We are not responsible for third-party services or for moderation or monetization decisions by destination platforms.

Paid features are offered as monthly subscription plans, with optional one-time credit top-up packs for subscribers. Prices, taxes, and renewal terms are presented at checkout, which is processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel, change plans, or update payment details at any time from the billing portal; after cancellation you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.

We may change subscription prices or plan allowances with notice; changes apply from your next billing period. Unless required by law, payments are non-refundable except at our discretion or as stated at the time of purchase.

Video generation is metered in credits. Each video costs a number of credits based on its length and animation mode, shown before you start the generation and deducted when it begins. There are two kinds of credits:

• Monthly creditsare included with your subscription plan. Your monthly credit balance is reset to your plan's allowance at each successful renewal — unused monthly credits do not roll over. Monthly credits expire when your subscription ends.
• Top-up credits are one-time purchases available to active subscribers. They never expire: they are not affected by monthly resets and remain usable even if your subscription later ends.

If a video generation fails on our side, the credits charged for it are automatically returned to your balance. If a finished video turns out shorter than the estimate you were charged for, we automatically refund the difference. Fixing and re-rendering an already delivered video is free within fair-use limits on the number of edits and regenerations per video.

Credits have no monetary value, are not transferable between accounts, and cannot be redeemed or exchanged for cash. If your account is terminated for a material breach of these Terms, any remaining credits are forfeited.

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT OUTPUTS WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS OR BE SUITABLE FOR ANY PARTICULAR USE. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR REVIEWING OUTPUTS BEFORE PUBLICATION AND FOR COMPLYING WITH PLATFORM POLICIES AND APPLICABLE LAW.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STICKREEL AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICES OR THESE TERMS. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO STICKREEL FOR THE SERVICES IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY OR ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS (USD $100), IF NO FEES APPLIED.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

You will defend and indemnify StickReel and its affiliates against any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from Your Content, your use of the Services, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms or if we are required to do so by law. Upon termination, provisions that by their nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, and dispute resolution) will survive.

We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. If changes are material, we will provide additional notice as appropriate. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to StickReel's operating entity, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Courts in that jurisdiction will have exclusive venue, subject to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence where applicable.
